Research

The Harwood lab investigates public health-related water microbiology. My dissertation research is currently focused in the relationship between waterborne pathogens, indicator bacteria, physicochemical and environmental factors in a tropical beach in Costa Rica. My research is a small part of a larger, US National Science Foundation-funded investigation, entitled the MERA Investigation.
