Why undergraduate research? After learning more about the complexities of the gut microflora, I wanted to participate in this lab to apply my classroom knowledge and explore the world of micro bacteria and help develop new knowledge on the topic. I am very interested in the emerging health concerns of antibiotic resistance and am currently diving into assessing the prevalence of antibiotic resistance in biosolids.
