Why undergraduate research? I became interested in research because it provides a deeper understanding beyond what the classroom offers. Research is more directly focused and explores questions that generally people do not think about.

Why undergraduate research? I am interested in pursuing a career involving scientific research and working in a research lab provides me with the opportunity to learn techniques which I can apply towards the future. Also, the ability to acquire knowledge and collaborate with peers on scientific projects within the lab interests me.
